Hung Angels Posting of Images...

Many of you enjoy the free posting of images here - it's good to jerk off to, good to sample whats out there and it's not costing you a penny. The websites realise that sites like this do us good, if someone gets a boner for a certain girl then hopefully, they'll click the link on this site and the end website gets a sale and Hung Angels (or the other referral site) gets a nice little percentage of the recurring sale.
Without websites like the ones I run as well as the girls running their own sites (Joanna, Gia, Allanah, Vicki, .ca, etc, etc) there would be no new material. We'd all be jerking off to the same old printed crap that was circulating when I came online in 1996.
I think it's fair to ask that when posting images of a specific model that you include no more that 6-10 pics of each girl from each website she's appeared on. This is more than enough to illustrate your point and for people to have a good pull of their puds to.
Anymore than that, or like one member just told me "he doesn't want to point me to a site which posts massive amounts of stolen material" then websites will start taking action against these excellent free sites (actually the sites will start self-censoring as they wish to stay in business with the websites) or it will eventually result in less and less budget being able to be put into new material, websites taking less of a risk on an "unknown" model (at Shemale Yum, Vo'Balm, Lisa Kage, Joanna Jet, Allanah Starr were all unknown models at the time making their first sets on the internet) and all of us just not being able to see fresh, new material.

This isn't a call out to those of you who just wish to enjoy the freebies that sites like this offer, just asking to understand the potential consequences that may affect you and to have a little respect for the models, the photographers and the websites that commissioned them.

If he had not mis-represented the exchange I would have let it drop.

However, I now think it would be interesting for the rest of you to read the complete conversation,

Thanks for your comments about Sarah but if you're going to post any images from grooby sites please limit it to 6 images per model.
Giving it away from free isn't conducive to good business or providing a budget to shoot more models.

Technically, I downloaded those images from another non-Grooby site,
where they had already been (re) posted, by someone.
Nevertheless, I understand your concern, and in the future I personally
will abide by your 6 image per model directive, in reference to posting on Hung Angels.
I certainly wouldn't want to compromise your business efforts.

Just an additional thought -
As any other new board members, such as myself, would not be aware of your rules,
possibly it might avoid any such difficulties if this directive was permanently posted (sticky) or possibly addressed in the FAQ.

That would be up to Hung Angels to do that, technically, anyone of us sites could have them closed for posting these images so they're normally quite good about it and regulate it themselves. Of course, I recognise the marketing that this does for us which is why I leave it.

No problem....it was just an idea that I thought could be helpful.

To be honest with you, I'm a little hesitant to name the site now.

Feel a bit like I'd be violating the confidence of the posters there.

I'm sure you guys are vigilant about unauthorized use of images, as you need to be,
but at the same time I have a very strong affinity for file sharing of all types,
and for those people who do so without any profit motives.

You're quite happy to look at free STOLEN images from websites, quite happy to jerk off at content which we've had to pay our photographers and the models good money for, to run a website which promotes more shooting of new girls and puts back more money back into the models and the industry than any of the other websites but you're not even going to show me where these STOLEN images are.
You're just a piece of shit like they are. What will you be wanking off to when there is no new content because it's all been pirated and plagurised.
Post one more image that belongs to Grooby Productions on any website and I find it belongs to you, I will begin legal issues against that site and youself.

However, it is not my responsibility to do your "policing".
Your attitude is ridiculous. I understand your feelings,

You will never be able to completely stop the sharing of files.

I see Seanchai's points. The groups like the wolves den or whatever on yahoo groups has like 30,000 members and they post tens of thousands of images. Some of it can be called marketing, but it is way out of control.

I really don't know how you control file sharing, but you have to respect the point that as memberships drop off due to theft fewer and fewer sites will be able to maintain/sustain themselves or their content quality.

I had not thought of PayPal before as I way of payment (I don't know why as its so pervasive on the net). But my reluctance to join certain sites ... is that if you join - they AUTOMATICALLY enroll you in recurring MONTHLY charges. I do not like that at all. I do not accept the proposition that you can cancel them ... it is not as easy as that as I have found out that a certain site (wont name the name - at this time - DID NOT CANCEL my membership when requested). I do not understand the problem with allowing a person to join for a month via credit card ... to decide if they want to remain a member.

I'm a member of a few sites, and have no problem paying to view quality content that others may get for free, however the sites I've joined were due to "obtaining" a few sets of images of some models from usenet, I'm not gonna name groups, but they're not hard to find.

I have to admit this, but because I don't have a major credit card or some of the on-line billing options I can't join major sites, Grooby etc. Gia Darling's site accepts Paypal to join, so I joined.

Why don't more sites accept payment like this? If they did maybe more people would join and money could be made, instead of free sites with "stolen" photos.

More options means more availability.

Paypal actually stopped doing business with us as they refuse to do business with adult companies - however, we offer a number of options to pay other than credit card, including one time billing to a phone or the ability to send in a personal check, money order, international money order, Western Union or cash (often at big discounts) that no other sites bother with.
This is clearly explained on each join page and we answer individuals queries personally to ensure, they get what they want.

As many of you already know, if a site is genuinely showing our (stolen) material, ie; they're not a referrer/promotional partner, or a yahoo group, or a site like this one (clarification they're showing sets of our images as sets of their own). Then send the url to me, if it's genuine then we'll credit you a free month on the website.

As previously stated, I've no problem with inviduals filesharing and newsgroups but any website showing the images are making a profit, if not through referrals then through false advertising and click throughs or some other way. Stopping these sites ensures the longterm survival of original porn.

We have loads of European members who send in international money orders (available from the post office).
Failing that, send in a money order in UKpounds and I'll cash it the next time I'm back home in UK. Or we take cash (sent by UPS it's never been "misplaced"). Failing all that, we've often worked with people who wish to become members with alternative arrangements that I can't post here.
We work with potential members to find an arrangement that suits them.
We have one guy who sends us $20 cash a month, religiously for the last few years.
Will look at Maestro but I've found that with all these paypal type billing companies that everyone seems to be loyal to one or another (I use a different one altogether for my pokerroom account).
