I just saw the video of Kayne West and he was really feeling it.
You can tell he was VERY emotional about the situation.
I have to say I agree with him.
I have another thing to say........I was living in Virginia at the time hurricane
Andrew hit.
I was very poor and living in the housing projects of Virginia a place called the bottom with my sister and beleive me it IS the bottom.
THEY EVACUATED US and we had to stay overnight in a school.
We had NO transportation........most poor black people DONT HAVE CARS!
So I can empathize with whats going on in New Orleans because I have gone through it.
This crap about blaming the victim is typical right-wing republican bullshit.
I say horay to Kayne West!
I might even buy one of his records now.

I'm from Virginia and was living there when Andrew hit FLORIDA and LOUISIANA...you mention living in the bottom, meaning Richmond, correct?...feel free to show me proof if I'm wrong, but either you're playing fast and loose with the facts or? were you evacuated because of rain? please enlighten me? Virginia Beach, where I lived, is on the OCEAN, unlike Richmond, and there has never been anything close to Katrina there, or anywhere else in VA...maybe it's time to cease this drama queen vibe you got goin on...it's histrionics like that that give libs and dems a bad rep!!
