The US Gov't does have plenty of assets but they're NOT for sale. Like millions of acres of gov't land, military bases and equipment, the Pentagon, the WhiteHouse, etc. Alaska.

Biggest economy has the biggest debt. So? Bankrupsy only happens when creditors force the issue. Do you really think that's going to happen? We're the market. Without us, it all collapses.

BUT, sooner or later they will want to collect, whether we are or are not able to pay up. What exactly happens then, is anybody's guess. I have my hunches, that's for sure
