Peter Schiff: 1 talking heads: 0 the result of 250 years of the history of capitalism is in: 1) the bigger the boom the bigger the bust. 2) the longer it's been since the last downturn the nearer it is to the next downturn.

That was an amazing video. I think it's difficult to maintain your focus and stay on target when you are constantly being drowned out by perma-bulls.

That was fucking scary. How is it that this guy didn't run for office? Has someone put his name on a sticky note in Obama's office?

its pretty easy to predict a downturn of the economy when there have been many years of growth. if anyone has noticed, we have gone throught this for most of my life. the people get their toys get in debt and then spend a few years paying it off. this is the only real recession since the early 90s. this one may be more severe because of the energy mess and the greed of our home lending practices, but some new technology or some new toy will come out that will drive the masses back to the stores and shops and we will have a new economic boom. our economy has and always will run in cycles. capitalism may not be perfect but its one of the reasons everyone from every part of the world wants to live here.
