I loved his stuff, bonded with my mom watching his movies after almost losing touch in high school. RIP

[quote="DJ_Asia"]What strikes me most about Newman was the fact that he donated all proceeds from his line of foods, salad dressings, spaghetti sauces and popcorn to charity. To date that total is 175 million dollars....wow![/quote

Yea it's always a bit sad (and weird) when one of the greats pass on.

PN was also a great racer and advocate for the sport. many of those who competed against him have said, had it been his focus in his younger days, he could have been one of the greats.
Cool Hand Luke and Hud, still a couple of my faves.
godspeed Paul
we're always a step out of time,

His passion was his racing. I knew him from that arena. He never played the 'star card' at the track. Never put his name on a car. Just: PLN
Thank for the honor of being part of it all. You will be missed.

What a class act he was. Here was a man that carried himself with the dignity and grace usually reserved for female movie stars.
In addition to using his celebrity status to further humanitarian and peace-loving causes. I do believe he was also quite generous in his philanthropic efforts.
