Read about it just a few minutes age...what a bummer! Floyd is most definitely in my top TWO.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow musicians. A very great loss.

    R.I.P.

Floyd was my fave band as I was growing up. They were with me throughout a lot of twists and turns in life and it is sad to see such a great musician go.

Totally devastating......the only guy who stood up to Roger Waters in that band (although I love Waters as much, even though he's kind of a prick). The unsung hero of PF. I'm busting out my "Live at Pompeii" just for him........Sad.

It's been two days now, and he's apparently still dead, so I suppose a Youtube tribute is in order. Personally, I never gave much thought to Richard Wright. Pink Floyd was one of the few bands to use a keyboard effectively, but it's still a pretty lame instrument. Keyboard players are the guys who score the groupies the drummer doesn't want.

That being said, for what it's worth, he was still damn good at what he did.

    RIP Rick.

Waters was the true talent in that band, Gilmour 2nd. Quite the existential band, and Id say maybe as psychedelic as the Doors. "hey you" , ever figure out he's talking to himself? the creative impulse trapped by the outside persona, awesome shit

I've sucked Vanity, Yasmin, Mia and Saigon...and no, not on the same night.
