Van Halen, Heart, Others to GOP: Stop Using Our Songs!
I remember when Springsteen had to school that SOB Ronnie Reagan for using "Born In the USA" in his campaign...apparently Reagan and his stooges didn't realize that the song vilified the kind of trumped-up trickle-down star-spangled lie that Ronnie et al were busy selling to gullible US voters...

Van Halen - Right Now
Van Halen management tells us the band had no idea McCain was planning on using "Right Now" during his big entrance in Ohio telling us, "Permission was not sought or granted nor would it have been given."
Probably no one realized is was Van Halen with that bland Hagar vocal :snark:.

It's funny, why can't they use the songs of GOP voting musicians???
Could it be that their songs SUCK? I mean there are so many, many songs that they can use from the fantastic hits from the pantheon of Republican all-star musicians, right?
You mean other than country/western shit, their best and brightest is Alice Cooper and Sammy? Well, they could use Brittney Spear's stuff...
BWAAHAHAHAHAHA!
