Possibly. I think they did overlook the fact that a fair number of Democratic voters are also anti-censorship voters who didn't like Tipper Gore to begin with, and couldn't vote for the ticket at all once you factored in Lieberman and his record of trying to legislate morality.

Oh ya, Democrats are all for free speech, unless of course you are talking about radio.

Or computer games. It was lieberman & hillary that wanted fed regulated video games to prevent minors from getting stuff like Doom2 and GTA.

Sometimes Democrats support video game censorship for the sake of political expediency. (Remember how they're always getting hammered for ignoring "God issues"?) Nonetheless, it is the GOP that accounts for the bulk of the anti-video game activity. They just do it more quietly than their Democratic counterparts. Think I'm making shit up?
