It's hard to explain anything to someone who acts like they're 12. Like I said, the proof of her accomplishments are there in PRINT! I did not make them up. If you find that revolting, you can write the Guinness, Recording Industry Association of America, vh1 etc. I doubt they'll even read some anon guy's letter of contest!

Also, this isn't a pissing contest. You asked for a reason or reasonS..I gave them to you. You're not convinced..then that is YOUR problem not mines nor Madonna's or any award giving body for that matter. But the fact are there. Ignore it, doesn't mean anything to me either way. SHE ROCKS!

HURDLE #1: If guys would learn to stop over complementing, and not compliment every tranny (or girl) they see and talk to (so a girl would feel it was sincere and that she's special), maybe they'd get somewhere but a dead end! lol

Why don't we ask a more important question? Like..

How did BUSH won the Presidency for example? What really happened in Florida? Why was that idiot elected twice?

Why is the American economy on a slow down? Why is gas expensive? Why is the unemployment rate high (highest since 199?

Aren't those more important? Oh right, you also don't care because you're not an American! lol My bad.. lol

Oh, I wasn't aware that liking good music relegated me to being the dreaded internet (12).

Guess I'd better start cranking up 'Like A Virgin' and start growing up.

Jesus, my only question is why have these three ladies become such GLBT icons, when they aren't even part of the fucking community!

Yes..you are right..none of these questions interest me. Because if they did interest me, I would definitely post about them on a Transsesxual Porn Board! WTF?

    EDIT:

I guess I treaded upon the dreaded TRANNY MADONNA NERVE. Oooops.

    Editx2:

And we have no Madonna-loving transwomen in the UK, of course.

Well one, good music like beauty is subjective. Learn it! lol

    Two, phenomenon is defined as:

    a) a rare or significant fact or event

    b) (plural) phenomenons : an exceptional, unusual, or abnormal person, thing, or occurrence.

The three women you've mentioned fall into this category..meaning their success was highly unusual and exceptional.

About the Madonna nerve. I happen to wake up early and can't go back to sleep. Wait 'til TSnTX wakes up and in a bad mood.. Be ready to be called a fag! lol

Oh HA does have a politics section!!

    Well o

    Thankyou!

That is why I started this thread. I wanna know how these idiots have managed to create such a following in this community. So far I have learned that Madonna is a GLBT icon because her brother died of aids and she nicked Voguing from the NYC Houses. And she sold a bunch of records. Which means she is an AWESOME MUSCICIAN YES! AND PORTRAYS AN IMAGE OF FEMININITY THAT ALL WOMEN CAN RELATE TOO!
Thankyou for your input Hara. ( Ps. This thread was lighthearted in nature, so, ease-up girly!)

And I have been called 'fag' many times by the sainted TSNTX, so I hope I will live.

    Not all of them do.

It is effeminate gay men who typically idolise Cher and Madonna. In fact, a real transsexual is as likely to idolise them as any other woman.

Thus, the transsexuals you see idolising those glam queens are often transsexual in everything except the sexual, that is to say some of the "pre-ops for life" or "non-ops"... people who do not display the same kind of intense gender dysphoria as real transsexuals who despise(d) their own male genitalia. Some are arguably nothing more than gay men glammed up like the glam queens they idolise.

Not to denigrate the strategy these queens pursue. They know there are multitudes of "straight" men who will use the over-the-top make-up and Cher-style dress as license to pursue their own cock-fantasies without the gay guilt.

I think a big error is to assume that all trannies idolise freaks like Cher or Madonna. Far from it.

Yes, you have uncovered my immense lack of knowledge about MADONNA (I was too busy listening to good music, but hey).

Please explain to me why she is so great again.
