I don't understand how some of the hotter trannies only do a couple vids and then disappear while the less than stellar trannies are always in vids. I love Amber Vaughn for example and I think she has the potential to be a super star in the porn industry yet she seems to have stopped doing videos. She don't even have her own website. Why is that?! There are a number of other ladies I'm in love with who don't seem to do the porn thing or have their own XXX websites (yet they're escorts) and I'm curious to know why that is?

cuz being a STAR isnt just about looks. there are mad ("mad" means "alot" for those of you who have been complaining about not understanding postings lately) folks who will always look better then the next in every industry... i.e. music, porn, movies, etc.

anyone can be marketed to a certain extent BUT stars aren't made they are born. u either are or your not.

a star to me is someone who is fascinating, exceptional on all platforms and aspects of life, and who's personality can't be duplicated. 1 in a Million.


alot of gurlz think they are stars. i noticed t-girls claiming to be world famous and claiming to be stars all over eros and in chatrooms. they are delusional. sad really. but like u said they can only be found on eros. that word (star) has been used very loosely in the porn n escort community in my opinion. because someone pays you doesn't make you a star. because people LOVE you and can't help but want to know EVERYTHING about you makes you a star. It's the "Can't get enough" factor.


NOT ALL but alot of ts are merely paid, photographed, and used for their services and nothing ever comes of it because they are slow minded or on drugs, not healthy, or computer illiterate. being pretty is good but without brains and personality to accompany it their is no chance of stardom. which leads back to my point there will always be another new fresh faced pretty dummy to be next in line for someone to photograph or make a vid of and they will keep coming. the ones who are always here are the stars and that's just how it is.

Good points, .. A couple of other points should also be made. One, that not all hot, beautiful TS escorts want to do porn; in fact, many don't. Doesn't mean they don't have talent or personality, it's just their choice to not put themselves out there that way. Some of these girls won't do even solo full nudity, and that's cool. As one very beautiful, very sexy tgirl told me 2-3 years ago, she won't do porn or even softcore because it will always be out there and could come back to haunt her in 10 years when she's long left "the life" behind. (Some girls, like Vicki Richter, are the opposite: they do porn but they don't escort. It's all a personal choice.)

Another is that some truly beautiful girls just can't act at all (and while good porn may not require Meryl Streep-level acting, you do have to be convincing on screen) or can't perform on demand. I think Vicki talked about this a few months back: porn (or any acting) is intense, with the lights, people milling about doing their jobs, you have to get it up on demand for as long as needed, etc. and not everyone can do that. Or they do one or two vids, get an inflated self-image, and suddenly find that the work's dried up because there are more cooperative girls out there who are just as beautiful.
