    Dude, it's not that bad.

And I think you got it wrong in saying "Education is Dead".

More like "There is no hope for our next generation"

Well what do you expect? Sure even on this board, you have people talking about ancient scriptures and planets called Nibiru, or the dangers of microwaving plastic.

People are not only sadly lacking in education, but also critical thinking skills.

I guess that would have been a more accurate title however I feel the point that the quantity of views that the video got means something is not right

Al: First thing they teach you when you're a rookie shoe salesman is when you get a fat one in the chair, never look up. I looked up, Peg! I saw underwear! It said "Saturday!"
    Peggy: So?
    Al: Today's Wednesday!

Hmmm... Sounds familiar. I remember all this being said about my generation, & my generation said all the same things about the current generation that's saying the same thing about the upcoming one. I guess it's good to know that some things never change.

Or alternatively, that each generation has been correct, and we're on a steady march towards greater and greater ignorance.

There's more than a little evidence to support that hypothesis.

Oh I don't know about any evidence supporting that, & as a grandpa of 4, I should be smarter than most by that hypothesis. I've seen the same complaint about the younger generation made by Aristotle. Your theory would claim that we've been dumbing down since we crawled from the caves.
    Yet... Hey! Here we are.
