Straight ones are only young and pretty (or at least transition when young and pretty), gay ones are always old and ugly.

I don't know that to be a widely held stereotype. (perhaps just an unpopular thought to voice out loud.) It has a logic that if one has the look, even after all medical intervention, of Herman Munster; Then they will have a hard time finding a man. Society judges all women by looks.
