I've just put my nominations in.

I don't think anything has came close to Buddy Wood and The Tranny Chaser for a DVD/Director this year. http://www.trannychaser.com - watch the trailer. Who else is making story driven, fun and horny content like this?


I also think this should be the year for Venus Lux. She only debuted last year but her scenes, her commitment and the amount of GOOD work she's done this year, should make her the main contender.

I'm not so sure it's her year. I won't deny she's the odds favorite, but I think it's a far more open field. Venus is a great person and definitely one of the top performers right now. She always turns in a solid performance. But she lacks the wow factor with her scenes. When you look at the reviews of her scenes, there's never any gushing - never any "this is the scene of the year" type things. She HAS worked more than anyone else. But I think that's more a function of the lack of standouts this year -- there's no one really owning the spotlight. I think we'll see a number of solid contenders when the nominees are out.

Nominate for webstar of the year I work my ass of on cam hee hee between my two supershows and then camming on the regular.

As well ts performer of the year for my scene in TS Playground 3 :0)

I think transsexuals should be considered for webstar though I know it's a mainstream gig.

I honestly don't understand why most of these award shows and the awards that are given out are from the industry. I mean isn't it the fans that actually matter most here, since it's them that buy the dvd's and purchase memberships? Honestly without fans, there would be no industry. I just find it highly un-credible, when the industry picks it's winners. Just like the Oscars. Who's to say that such n such wants a model to really be recognized, even though she may not be that popular with the fans. What better way than to give her an award so she can plaster "Xbiz performer of the year" all over the place. That's just my two cents....

Yea you're right Kelly...No matter though. I like what I like, and awards don't dictate that for me. Award or no award. Kelly Shore is def one of the tops in my book every year. And yes, your scene on TS Playground 3. Was hella awesome !!! The only reason I bought it was for your scene...

the best way to vote for who you think deserves to win awards is to buy their product (whether dvd or website membership). the industry is not going to give an award to a company or person who is not being successful.

the oscars are a little different because there is a certain aspect of auditioning for your next gig as well as the oscar committee trying to establish a certain standard of quality for the overall product. i'm guessing for things like avn there is a similar goal since evil angel always seems to win something (especially when stagliano directs or produces)

I do love Buttman. Probably the best director ever in the industry. It was his titles that actually got me into porn. Saw his first movie when I was just a teen ager lol. "Buttman's Ultimate workout". Been a true fan ever since.
