Congratulations and good for you. I'm not a doctor and all I have to go on is the horror stories you hear about no feeling for women after the change and all that stuff. But science is advancing in all types of surgeries and making more things possible.
I don't find it a big surprise that you would be able to enjoy a wonderful moment like this. I think it's great, and hopefully it will become more common for others who have had the surgery. And may you have many more moments like this in the future
