Victoria (aka Miriam) in particular was a piece of work. She gives me a cross-street supposedly near her location, wherupon I'm supposed to call her back. When I get over there, call her back and identify myself, she cold hangs up.

Now, I've been warned about Victoria on this board, so I deserve that one--but I was surprised to see how phony so many others apparently are. If they're going to be escorts, I don't think they should refuse to see anyone based on race. There are lots of stereotypes about white men too, but they never seem to turn them down. Maybe it's because white men are more willing to give up their entire paycheck. Besides, they're only missing out on making more money by refusing to see black men.
