I agree. I am more at peace as well. I dont have the Testosterone battling the estrogen for control of my emotions and moods.

    LOL That's an awesome emoticon.

And to answer the OP's question, if a tgirl is castrated, an angel loses it's wings. no pun intended ....

So what I've gathered is that the correct medical term is Orchiectomy. But the question I'm left with is what happens to the scrotum is it removed as well or are artificial testes inserted into it?

    Jesus, another one

Anyway, a question for the girls. Are you comfortable with the term "castration" in this context? No shade here, just curious. I would ordinarily use the terms "orchiectomy" and "post-orchiectomy."

Depends on the case. Orchiectomy is also used to treat testicular cancer in males (don't that just make your eyes water?) and in those cases prosthetic testes may be fitted, but for a TS this is obviously not required and the surgeon may remove skin if the scrotum was quite large UNLESS the girl intends full SRS later, as the scrotal skin is used in forming the neo-vagina. Surgeons used to advise against orchiectomies prior to SRS for this reason and may still do, but SRS (or GRS) is a rapidly advancing surgical technique and change is happening all the time.
