Re: What is the Las Vegas Lounge like?
Thanks Celeste for the LA club update. I gotta get up there one of these weekends.
TSHunter - come on down to San Diego to the SRO as listed above.
It looks like a dive from the street - well OK it IS a dive - but it's the friendliest bar you'll ever find. Think "Cheers" in drag. Just step over the homeless drunks passed out on the sidewalk and have a good time! Jessica and I get down there every few weeks on Saturday nights around 11. Say hi and remember... you'll get what you pay for!
And there's nothing really happening in OC anymore. Unless you speak spanish, in which case the Frat House on GG blvd may have some latin girls on Friday nights. I went there about 3 years ago. The Boom Boom Room in Laguna is closed and the whole GLBT scene died with it. Even the "Little Shrimp" is now a straight dinner house for tourists.
Sigh,
TS Jamie

Went to the Lounge last night (yes, I'm in Las Vegas right now). Kinda dead...until around 1:45am. A LOT of girls started to come in at that time. Most of them I didn't recognize, except for ex-Yum model Daisy (aka Natalie). I remember her because she used to live in LA and she has this huge thunderbird tattoo on her back.
If this was LA, those gals would be arriving to late!

I passed by the LV longue about 3:00 am on Saturday and I saw a lot of cars in the parking lot. It seemed to be a packed night.

LV copies everything. In this case, it sounds like they've copied Sally's Hideaway.
Just because you don't know about it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist: http://www.hungangels.com/board/view...=asc&start=158

For you LA cats, the Lounge is similar to The Blacklite...at least early on.
