I think there is a big difference between here (HA) and that train. Here is supposed to be a place where we can be ourselves. And she was herself here and let us know many things about her life. That train was in a hostile world. But this place is supposed to be different. I can call myself "I Love Shemale Cock" and just be one of the guys.

I know that this is the internet, but human beings are still the members of it. I think the persons that insulted Mimi should be man enough to publicly apologize for a public insult. Okay, you have a point. I’m sure she has said some negative things. However, the right thing to do is to call her on exactly what she said, or even her behavior in a general sense, not attack her on some unrelated subject. Another option is to ignore her and let the people who like her interact with her. You say she did not apologize for her own behavior, but I for one am a lot older and mature than her, and I don’t think she should be the one setting the behavior standards around here.

Maybe that’s why there is so much feuding around here. People need deal with specific issues and move on. I look at the recent thread titled “Jennifer Paris is a Bitch”. But at least the offended person dealt with the specific behavior, and the issue got some clarification. A typical scenario is that the offended person wouldn’t address it, directly but make some negative remarks later about Jen on an unrelated subject. Then a feud gets started with people taking sides and the real issue gets further obscured.

Very few people are not sensitive about their looks. The majority of people here don’t post their real picture. I for one am especially curious about the women who have not posted their picture here. Calling someone ugly who posts their picture should be a no-no if we want to encourage people to post. And if someone is offended by our remarks the mature way is to address it, not declare open season to attack us on every unrelated subject.

One last thing, is that people have the ability to change. Our society in general does not give people enough credit for this ability. I have lived for a while and know that I have changed for the better mentally and everyone else has the same capacity. I have learned from my mistakes. And so can a 21 year old Mimi. You are right in saying that you can’t change the past, but the key is to allow them to change the present, which they are fully capable of doing. By not allowing them to do it, we are locking our lives into prisons where people are forever replaying an unchangeable past. Tit for tat is not where it's at. Just look at the Middle East where people have been carrying on feuds which have lasted over 1000 years. I say an apology to Mimi is a way to show that this is a adult forum.

From what I can see is that Mimi started a thread saying that she liked to take pictures of herself. She posted a link to a video of her getting her photo taken. She was insulted and call a gargoyle, which is a grotestque creature by definition. She was feeling proud of herself before those insults. She has even withdrew the original title of the thread, and all of her comments.

I can relate to her feelings. TS women come on here and show us their lives, to be insulted by others. I see models that I do not like like but I rarely say anything. But to directly respond to someone's post with an insult about their looks hurts everyone, not just the intended person. The poster Eze was the main culprit.

There are beautiful ts women who are stealth. That is more understandable in this context. On a board dedicated to their appreciation, people come on an insult them.
