Anyway, I think what is being described is a self defense mechanism for most girls. Yes it's partially self esteem, but TS take it much harder when people dog on them for appearance. They shouldn't, but it happens. I mean if GG's wilted because not everyone thought they looked like Marilyn Monroe, we'd have some real problems.

I guess what we have here is a bunch of people aspiring for beauty as women. You are going to end up with some ugly women just like there are ugly women in real life. The bigger problem is that I notice not many TG have a good perception of self. In other words, a self realization about their appearance. It doesn't matter if they are attractive like Miriam or some cross dresser in their wives panties they are looking at themselves in the mirror thinking how hot they are.

Rule #1 - Take what men say about your appearance lightly (either good or bad). I've seen some really crazy stuff in Yahoo chat rooms in the past where all these guys are going nuts over a fat girl or TG's who aren't that convincing. I've also seen red hot girls (TG and GG) be picked apart by guys.

Rule #2 - Be realistic about your own appearance. If you describe yourself with adjectives like gorgeous, beautiful, amazing, dazzling, etc be prepared for people to agree or disagree with you. Why not let people make up their own mind on whether you're attractive; they are going to anyway. I mean I am sure Brooke Burke's acting or modeling portfolio (which would obviously include pictures) saying things in it like, "this flawless girl..." the pictures speak for themselves.

Ecstatic, firstly thanks for quoting a small part of something of mine even though I haven't posted on this thread.

i'm kinda cocky and i think a lil' confidence is cool when the person has natural swagger, however there is a thin line between friendly cocky and nasty cocky... but um in my case... i don't deal with billy crystal looking nerds and especially not for a measily 100 bucks. i deal with baltimore ravens, hip hop producers, actors and real estate moguls. i'm confident because i'm smart, freindly, impeccably clean, laid back, compassionate, pretty, and i was brought up with proper morals and values despite my choice of employment. i work hard at making myself a good person so i have high expectations from people who encounter me on a day to day basis because i won't accept less. people who don't know me often assume i'm arrogant or too "cocky" but everyone who knows me on a personal level LOVES me and i've never given a fuck about strangers opinions. LAMES that i don't know usually end up in my email trash folder or i delete their messages out of my voicemail. usually the people who complain about cockiness are haters or jealous because they have no life. at least that's what i have found. some people just need to accept that they r nerds n stop hating on folks who are doing the damn thing.
