I wonderif they are unhappy with their body image and thus reluctant
to have sex.

Or if they are so goal oriented and on a mission with their transitions that
they don't have the time, energy, or inclination to have sex.

I think it's the second one. The emotional energy that goes into transition leaves them with a low libido, along with the physical effects of HRT

Who doesn’t seek out sexual encounters or at least pursue them when the opportunities arise? I’m in a long term relationship. I seek out sexual encounters everyday. Of course I seek to have them with my partner, and so I suppose I’m not being promiscuous. (Though I still enjoy flirting with others…but that’s another issue). But what if the two of us decided to invite another couple into the boudoir some evening? Suppose we make a habit of it. Would that make me promiscuous? I think probably yes, though it wouldn’t make me unfaithful. My point is that often promiscuity is morally conflated with infidelity. As long as safe-sex practices are observed and everyone is up front with each other, I see nothing wrong with promiscuity. Infidelity is another matter. Infidelity almost always involves deception and all the toxins that poison one’s psyche when living a lie.

Are TG’s more promiscuous than others? Young TG’s (because of the dysphoria from which they have recently emerged) may be keener to establish their sexuality, and this may lead some toward more promiscuous behaviors. I present this as a sort of self diagnosis of my own youth. (I was promiscuous for the fun of it and I escorted for the money and sometimes it’d get all mixed up). But I can’t really speak in generalities and I’ve never looked into the statistics of it. Frankly, I doubt that TG are more promiscuous or less promiscuous than anyone else. I do think promiscuity is more likely an affliction of youth. Since the focus of HA is sex, it should be said that by definition almost all escorts and certainly all hookers are promiscuous, but you may still find they can be faithful friends and lovers.

Dunno, but if it is the case, I find it most refeashing, especially since 99.9% of GG's by me won't let you even touch them unless you slip a ring on their finger.

Yeah I realize that the word 'promiscuous' may have moral connotations,
but I was really trying to get at was how sexually active are transwomen
compared to other people. I think you and a few others got the gist of
the question.

And I agree that when we're younger we tend to be more sexually active
in general. Also when we are first transitioning we may be more active
because we are 'testing our wings' or we enjoy the ego stroking that sex
may give us.

I was also trying to get a sense of how hormones, and peoples feelings
about their body images effected their libido. When I was younger I was
a lot more sexually active, but there was a period during which I was
unhappy with my body and it made me somewhat inhibited.

But no, the question isn't about are men dogs, and women pure as the
driven snow, as some of the posters have inferred.

I personally don't beleive that transsexuals are any more or any less promiscuous than any other gender. The common belief is that most TS women are escorts and adult film stars and that is not entirely true. Studies show that a large majority of transsexuals are financially successful people in their mid-50's who finally have the strength, courage, and financial ability to pursue the gender that they identify with.

At the end of the day, as long as you're not hurting anyone who am I to judge?

Outside of my Modelling work i dont have a sex life...

I am single, and enjoy being single, i spend time with my parents, nephews and family....

My social life is not one of wild parties, getting pissed etc...I much prefer to get my head down into my reading books, or drawing comics and playing my guitar...

When i do goto clubs or bars, i dont pick up guys,girls i socialise and mingle but have no desire to want to want to get banged etc,,maybe its because i get enough sex from modelling perhaps...and that allows you to focus more on emotional relationships socially ..i am not sure....

I am sure there are more girls like me out there too..I know 4 that are the same as me..
