Not sure if anyone else was there but I was a little disappointed in the party Saturday night at Pangea. Felt like a lot of the girls were either being social with each other or not being social at all. Just a very weird vibe to the room that night.

probably cause they been cleaning up all week getting paid by the tourists, and just wanted a place to chill with their friends

Yea probably. Also the bouncer was much more visible, I had been there before where you can have a lot more fun during the private dances, he was right there the whole time watching everyone.

I've always wanted to go to one of these parties. How much fun can you have in a private dance? Can you manage to bring a girl home for a $tay?

You can have a lot of fun with a lap dance, depends on the girl and the "vibe" (bouncer watch/not watching, is the place crowded/not crowded) - and YES you can bring a girl home. Chances are they will ask you first anyway.

Read my story I posted about one of the best times I had. But as I always say, parties are very much hit and miss - so just because you go once and it wasn't great doesn't mean you should stop. Try it again and see what happens.
