Spitzer is a fool. He had to know this would happen. All the good work that he did, and would have done, is down the drain because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants. That being said - this Justice Dept. has become a political arm of the White House. It goes back to the politically motivated firing of the nine attorneys and the purge of any who were not 'loyal bushies'. Dubya's administration is a corporate wet dream. "Bomb-bomb" McCain would be more of the same. WE THE PEOPLE need to elect whoever the Democratic (without full public funding of elections there will never be a viable third party) nominee for president is and a greater majority in both houses of Congress and then hammer them to serve the public, not private, interests.

Bush and Cheney should both have been impeached. Their time in the White House has left an indelible stain on the Constitution and the history of America.
