I wonder if this is a purge like crossdressers do occasionally?

I used to subscribe to one of those Netflix for porn deals, and they
would send me dvds and I would burn them.

I've got several large stacks, but I rarely, rarely watch them.

Actually, pornography addiction is a controversial subject in the medical community. Although pornography addiction does not appear in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), some psychiatrists believe that porn addiction is analogous to alchohol addiction.

Unfortunately, the criteria needed to formally define porn addiction could be used to describe virtually any type of mild to extreme obsessive behavior. In addition, one can watch, or collect pornography and still lead a perfectly normal, functional life.

thing is, with todays 500 gig HDs you are just so tempted to save ANY stuff you come across, bc saving space just is no issue anymore. Then, youll have 15 gigs of MP3s, and out more time into hunting for an mp3 or movie than actually listening to it or watching. After a while you just rrealize disk space has way surpassed the ability to absorb all the stuff....
Lol. Whenever I buy a computer I max out the HDs in capacity & amount for the most the system supports. When I find I'm out of room, I buy a new computer. Used to always work out about right, the rate it would take me the machine would usually be about 2-3 years old.

I wouldn't go above 500gb per drive on a 3.5" drive without getting a nice UPS though. More capacity in the same size means any damage will take out more data.

But who has a mere 15gb of mp3s?

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

Now this ... is the noble truth of the origin of suffering: it is this craving which leads to renewed existence, accompanied by delight and lust, seeking delight here and there, that is, craving for sensual pleasures, craving for existence, craving for extermination.

Now this ... is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering: it is the remainderless fading away and cessation of that same craving, the giving up and relinquishing of it, freedom from it, nonreliance on it.
