This topic is on just about every board thats ever been made but i checked out a bt to see if it was here and didnt find it, maybe i didnt look hard enough...i probably didnt look hard enough...i didnt look but anyway just to see what people here like since you can tell alot about someone by their taste in music.
Im currently listening to Gardenia by Kyuss.
A somewhat half assed apology if its already been done before.

Well, as Angela knows, my tastes are very diverse, so what I'm listening at any given moment won't really reveal much...but at the moment, it's Shawn Colvin's first cd, Steady On. Before that, Blue Goddes, the Crossing Jordan music cd, and the Cranberries (Everyone Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?).

The latest thing I have been listening to is SILENCE OF THE LAMBS - The Musical. If anyone in here listens to O&A, they have probably heard at least part of it. It is hysterical, dark, and clever. Definitely some great satire. What more could one ask for?

You listened to the Cranberries...as a child? Gods, I must be getting old. I still think of them as a new, young band!
BTW, thanks for introducing me to The Arcade Fire / Funeral. Good stuff.

A pretty diverse list of CDs in my car and next to my stereo at home ready to be played. Not a definitive list of the music I like, just the stuff I've been listening to over the last couple of weeks:
- The Crystal Method (all their stuff)
The Pizza Tapes (jam session with Jerry Garcia, Tony Rice, David Grisman)
Various bluegrass CDs (like the O Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack)
A few jazz CDs (Ronny Jordan, Herbie Hancock and a compilation CD)
The Chemical Brothers
The Black Eyed Peas
Train
Shakira
Guns and Roses' Appetite for Destruction (rarely leaves the CD deck)
A few oldies: The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, Creedence Clearwater Revival
I also always have handy a classical music compilation I put together with my favourite pieces (including Pachelbel's Canon, Rimsky Korsacov's Flight of the Bumblebee, Grieg's Morning, Delibes' Flower Duet from Lakme, Vivaldi's Spring from the Four Seasons, Mars and Jupiter from Holst's Planet Suite and a few others).
Navin R. Johnson: You mean I'm going to stay this color??
Mother: I'd love you if you were the color of a baboon's ass.
