    Default So I Finish Dinner

A few states away from home, I find this in my e-mail (yes, this is the top of my dresser- one of them anyway):

I think my roommates are trying to tell me to come home, that bear totally wasn't there when I left.

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

There's a story to almost everything in that picture actually. As to the shells, they were a gift (there's alot more than what's in view) and were not the right gauge so I can't actually use any of them.

There's actually two daggers, one's a repro and one isn't (I don't like having the real one where people can find it since they're fairly hard to find, and fairly expensive at that). It too was a gift, from someone who brought it back from the war. I end up getting alot of stuff like this, since I have been friends with so many ex-military. Sometimes I also get stuff like this as payment for genealogy work.

If there's one thing I fucking hate, it's pear-shaped bears.
