Maybe the most remarkable accomplishment is coming to understand that everyone is transitioning all the time, just in different ways. If we didn’t make the constant adjustments required to navigate through life, we’d wouldn’t have made it this far.

Here’s a salute to everyone’s accomplishments, and many more to come.

"...I no longer believe that people's secrets are defined and communicable, or their feelings full-blown and easy to recognize."_Alice Munro, Chaddeleys and Flemings.

"...the order in creation which you see is that which you have put there, like a string in a maze, so that you shall not lose your way". _Judge Holden, Cormac McCarthy's, BLOOD MERIDIAN.

    too very true!

    mine would have to be:
    -military (gulf war vet)
    -transitioning
    -finishing art school
    -quitting escorting
    -escaping an abusive relationship

I'm hoping to be able to become brave again soon, as regretably I seem to have lost my bravery somewhere along my lifepath. I'm afraid and ashamed to admit to being transsexual, and so I havent pursued my art career- (i'm stuck in telemarketing *bleck!*) .....but that'll be my next accomplishment - I wanna do cartoons....wish me luck!

...let's see...I raced and finished [well] the Baja 1000, 500 and 250 this year...and after doing that for about 10 years...I'm off to Europe to continue racing off-road, enduros and rallies this Spring...a training accident, last week, that left me with a shattered right hand will have me sitting out Lisboa/Dakar Rally...which I was slated to race next week!

...ya, motorcycles and t'girls...not sure if that's the accomplishments we're celebrating, but that's my deal...
