Is there any way we can fix this?
When I'm editing something I just posted, I keep getting this message... "You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while."
It's really annoying... I can understand how it would be useful to avoid flooding and whatnot, but does it really have to apply to edits also?
It sucks when I make a typo and then I have to look like an idiot for 2 minutes while I wait to correct it.

Honey, just click the back arrow, wait a while and try again. It just does that.
And yes I know what you mean about editing.

I think this is a great idea! I guess I'm picky as well about my posts. Thanks.

It really pisses me off too. Good idea.

I like the feature of some forum software (like vBulletin) allowing quick edits without loading the posting page and all. It's been a few years since I've administered a phpBB forum, so I don't know if that capability is available for this software.
