Questions for the Girls ........ Honest Answers appreciated
These are incredibly serious questions for the girls who are either going through or have transitioned. I'd be grateful for some honest answers ....
When did you decide was the moment you had to transition?
Did something in particular happen as a catalyst to say now is the time?
Did you have plenty support to make the decision fairly easy?
Did you go through a breakdown?
Did you just have to do it , make a hard decision with a lot to lose? and did you end up losing what you feared you would? Has anyone regretted it?
When did you start seeing your doctor about it?
How long did you fight against the desire/need to transition?
Do those who do porn/work in the sex industry do so out of choice or because they feel there is no option?
Do thos who do work as such as a pre-op fear losing perhaps the last option for making money if they transition fully?
Does anyone find these questions offensive? or out os place?

Re: Questions for the Girls ........ Honest Answers apprecia
I'm sorry - I have removed my post thanks to NightRider and Hondarobot and their infantile hijack of what was a pretty good thread.
I tried opening my heart to the members of this site to answer Kristy's question honestly.
Other girls have too and you dudes trash it.
GROW UP.
Sheesh,

as for other girls... if they feel they have no other choice they are probably right for feeling so... but i think its more lack of education and skills then it is about jobs not hiring.... i have had MANY day jobs that may not pay as lucrative as escorting would... but to say you cant find ANY job would be false... in my opinion.... like i said every girls journey is different and some arent as fortunate as others... who are we to judge what is right and wrong for someone elses life?
Do those who do work as such as a pre-op fear losing perhaps the last option for making money if they transition fully?
i would say most that stay pre-op are doing so bc they want to...
Does anyone find these questions offensive? or out of place?
i didnt.... made me feel good to share and look fwd to reading EVERY girls answers -j

When did you decide was the moment you had to transition?
My 25th birthday I decided that time was going by and I needed to
get started with the transition process.
Did something in particular happen as a catalyst to say now is the time?
Just that birthday, nothing in my life really.
Did you have plenty support to make the decision fairly easy?
I was very lucky in that I had already cultivated a circle of open minded
friends and at work I had been pushing the gender envelope a bit already
(not that it stopped me from being fired). As well, I have been blessed
with wonderful liberal open minded parents who both told me that they
didn't necessarily understand my decision, but if it was going to make me
happy they would support it and me.
Did you go through a breakdown?
No, not at all.
Did you just have to do it , make a hard decision with a lot to lose? and did you end up losing what you feared you would? Has anyone regretted it?
Before I came out to friends and family I definitely prepared myself for
the worst. I imagined everyone in my life abandoning me and what I
would do if that happened, luckily it didn't.
When did you start seeing your doctor about it?
The week after I made the decision I made an appointment for an
assessment at the Clarke Institute which at the the time was the only
venue for gettting health coverage for the transition process.
How long did you fight against the desire/need to transition?
I knew since I was very young, 5 or 6 that I didn't want to be a boy but
I grew up in an all male family so it was difficult for me to express my
feminine side openly when I was growing up. I remember one of my
favourite games growing up was "Mad Scientist" where I would be
"strapped down" as well as a girl friend of mine and our minds would be
switched which allowed me to be female if only for the duration of the
game.
Do those who do porn/work in the sex industry do so out of choice or because they feel there is no option?
I almost worked doing online cam shows just after I transitioned and was
unceremoniously fired from my job of many years but at the last minute
I balked and the person who ran the site took pity on me and hired me
to run the office instead. That was only for a few months until I got work
as Art Specialist for a childrens summer camp.

So I finally came out to my boss and lost my job, came back west to come out to my family, and lost them as well. I don't regret it, I just regret being born in the family i was.

It's pretty odd, especially when you have no desire to correct your birth gender, have no attraction to men, and are not really concerned about that.
Most people here are just guys looking to suck cock and not feel gay about it.
What ya gonna do?
