Does anyone here go to Wegmans? I think they are only in the northeast.

I love that place. (the newer stores atleast) are so nice and diverse.

I had never heard of it either, before I moved to PA. I was like "you seriously have a store called WAWA? Did a 3 year old come up with that??".
Hey, the chain was founded in Wawa, PA. Remember, this is the state that gave you such thriving communities as Jim Thorpe, Eighty Four, Jersey Shore, and the well-known Intercourse.

The word Wawa is Lenape for 'goose' (Specifically, Canada Goose, the store's logo).

The particular Wawa of which I spoke is probably T-Central due to its proximity to the Center City hotels and the nearby 'Gayborhood'. I'll have to camp out there someday and observe.

    But now I love Wawa.
    How could you not?

One gurl I met while she was in Philly had never seen or heard of Wawa before. Not realizing it was a convenience store (The one she saw was rather anonymous looking, not one of the megamarts they are building now), she had no reason to go in and find out.

My ex thought I couldn't remember the name of the store when I gave her driving directions. Akin to "...the little bagel place at the corner..." or "...the yada yada furniture store...".

Wanna know something funny? I stopped in new Hope and went to Wawa's afte my Monday Night show at the Raven. An inside joke with girls who do shows at the Raven is, after the show we "dine" at Che Wawa. The food was actually pretty good.

I saw one once. It had cold, lifeless eyes....like a doll's eyes.

Do Wawas have nachos and cheese? I can't remember ever seeing any.

The soup isn't bad either. As good as you can get for convenience store soup, at least.

Gee, that's odd, I've never seen you there honey...

If it means anything to anyone, "I" have never run into another transsexual (that I was sure about) at the market either.
