They appear to be Cutaneous Horns..
My personal theory is he had the mutation neccasary for their growth but it wasn't till he caught Leprosy that his genes kicked in.

I don't want to go all emotional but it is pretty fucked up. It definately does put your problems in perspective. Hope they find a cure soon.

This has been around for a while now. This was one specific eastern european guy and you showed the photos at it's worse. Essentially what you see is an odd hardening of the skin, much like nails over his hands and feet:

Yea it can be kicked off by Leprosy, the protrusions are actually more like Horns, as horn is made of hair and his appears to be his hair glands. the link you provided is in my OP but you can click within that for an up-date.
