Thanks for the recognition to us vets, Kira. It is much appreciated. Unfortunately, when I served with the U.S. Army from 1968-1970, including a year in Viet Nam, we received little thanks and a lot of scorn. It is nice to be appreciated. And if you don't mind my saying it, you are gorgeous as well as patriotic.

Well, I've never been in military service (nor do I plan to) but I've got a cousin in the Navy as well as my grandfather who fought in the Pacific in WWII as a pilot.
While if I could go back in time and change things, God knows I would, I also realize that such a thing is impossible. So I just have to move on with my life and make sure that I come out the other side a better person. That’s all there is too it.

I served in the First Cav Division, 1st of 68th Air defense artillary, 1973-74. I was drafted. One to the last US draftees in December 72.
