    Default a question

how do homosexual men and woman treat you girls and guys?
i ask because,my best friend is a lesbian and i know one or two gay guys who i used to work with.now heres the bit what confused me.
when i said i found this one girl really cute(ts) she is convinced im now gay.i said if i was gay i would be into guys and not this ts girl and ggs, but she wont have it,alas we are no longer friends ,and she has decided to gossip to my brother, now for me i dont really care, because this(ts)girl,is more of a lady than any ggs i have gone out with, also im always a open book, and my mum already knows i found this girl cute.but i was really shocked at my friends stance on this subject, and she made the comments without even seeing a pic of this girl.

The homosexual community generally doesn't care much for the TS community. The ENDA nonsense going on pretty much has made that as painfully obvious as it ever has been. The only reason that there is a T in the "LGBT" umbrella is out of 'queer' political correctness.

As you can clearly see, they don't care what you think or believe what you think, at all. They just want you to 'join' their team and have absolutely no interest for accepting you for what you are, with how your sexuality is.

That's how they're hypocrites. Lesbians generally think tgirls are simply perverted men (not women, at all), and gays think tgirls are gay men in denial (just as bad). And, they all think guys who are into them are gay men in denial.

Their whole 'tolerance' and 'acceptance' they pretend to have is a complete PC lie.

This whole community is better off, without them.

There is a segment of the les GG crowd (I said segment, forwarning- don't anyone misread me and think I am claiming ALL or MOST) that always sees tgirls as guys no matter what the situation is.

All the TVs and nontrans club kids running around in the gay male community isn't helping that viewpoint of these select GGs.

There are also the paranoid "lumberjack lesbian" types that think that anyone who is trans is a "guy changing their appearance to get with them and to force them to revert their political progress" or some such conspiracy theory. A few non-les "feminist" segments take similar positions. In a way it sounds like alot of the straight guys who, as soon as they find out a guy they know is gay, pull the "don't get any ideas" line (as if the gay guy had a reason to be interested in them).

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

I do want to say, though, that the reason the girls are treated so poorly by the gay community is because it completely threatens them.

If people realized that sexuality is more fluid, more gray than black and white, and that people didn't have to pick which 'team' they belonged to (gay or straight), then there would be no purpose in even having a gay community, at all.

We'd all just be human and people would be into whatever they're into.

And, when you have a man attracted to the female form with something hidden, or a woman attracted to a man without something down there, or even a gay man attracted to a tguy, it proves just that.

I've come across a gay guy who liked Buck Angel, and I also saw how freaked out his gay friends were when he said that.

It completely threatens their existence as a 'separate but equal' community.

Bottom line, people are attracted to all sorts of things, and many, if not most people are bisexual to some degree, from self-prescribed gays to protestant ministers, and they don't want to hear that, as clearly shown in the reaction of Andy's gay friends.

Until the ENDA issue showed the reality of the GLB community I would have said we had complete acceptance. On a personal level I've never had a gay guy say anything mean to me. God knows I've been fucked by enough of them.

I have had butch lesbians get PMS'ed about it. Mainly they can't understand why I want to cut the pee-pee off since they wish they had one. And one time in a lesbian chat room some whacko went off on me that I wasn't a "real" girl and had no right to be there.

And just a few weeks ago on this totally homophobic straight escort site/forum I'm part of (the only T-girl) some whore who was telling the girls to arm themselves with tazers and knives for protection took exception to my expressing my opinion that any woman short of "Laura Croft" who attackes a man with a knife is asking to get carved up, and she called me a bunch of names for daring to correct her. Ho hum.

But for everyone of those I get 20 e-mails from GG escorts all over the country who love my ass! And everytime I go to a girls bar it seems, I get felt up "are those boobies real? honk honk...) giggle.

And tomorrow night I'm doing a TS and GG on a guy date!

But I think there is a fundemental lack of understanding by the gay and leabian community about us. And recent weeks has brought that out.

But it's like I've said before - and in a speech I made last week. We are "them." (The gay community.) We started the gay rights movement at Stonewall. And from a clinical standpoint at least many of us are in same sex relationships. So to cut us out is to cut themselves in half.

    Anyway, didn't mean to ramble...

    Hugs,
    TS Jamie

my gay buddy at work has a theory about my preference for tgirls. he claims I'm in the 5th inning of converting to full homosexuality, as are all men who claim to be straight and hang with t's. The flaw in his logic is that I've been in the 5th inning for 20 fucking years, so it's one hell of a rain delay.
I don't bother arguing with him anymore. I think he's breaking my balls most of the time. but deep down I think most gay men think chasers are repressed homo's.

    I'm glad I know you're kidding.

Odd though it may seem (and whether she likes it or not) I agree with everything Nicole said.

Transsexuals are not a subset of gay culture and sooner or later this is going to have to be addressed. It is complicated by the fact that there are plenty of cross-dressing gay males and the two groups--CD/TV and TS--often share spaces both on-line and in the real world, and also by the fact that men who like TSs are often looking for a gay experience which they can deny the true nature of. This is compounded by the fact that many transsexual women pay for their transition by prostitution (sorry to be blunt and I don't mean any disrespect,) often with gay men who may well be in denial but whose interest in TS women is very firmly focussed about 8 inches south of the navel, giving the active gays all the ammo they need.

There are plenty people, both men and women, gay and straight who think, as the OP found out, that any interest in TSs whatsoever is an automatic "you are gay" label for a man. I would argue that it's a lot more complicated and agree with the "shades of grey" statement someone made.

However, despite all this confusion, somewhere along the line I believe there will have to be a divide: transsexuals have to demand and achieve recognition for what they are, which is on the one hand not part of the conventional biologically male/female gender framework, and on the other not part of the gay/lesbian sexuality framework. This is not going to be easy but having said that the much increased exposure that transsexuals have had over the last few years, which has not by any means all been negative, has to be a step forward.

At the moment there appears to be a serious fracture between pre-op and post-op transsexuals. It may be a tall order but I think if some solidarity could be achieved between these groups, moving away from the GLB world, then in the long term this would be the best thing.

Whatever it is clear to me and has been for years, that those in the the GLB community may pay lip-service to the transsexual community when it suits them, but when it does not, they do all they possibly can to undermine it.

    Good luck.

Homosexual men do that cause they simply want you to bat (or catch) for their team! I've been friends with a lot of gay men and it's always been the same. They think all my bf's would let them suck him off or fuck them in their ass cos he's with me. WRONG! LOL

HURDLE #1: If guys would learn to stop over complementing, and not compliment every tranny (or girl) they see and talk to (so a girl would feel it was sincere and that she's special), maybe they'd get somewhere but a dead end! lol
