Get Well, Jerry "The King" Lawler
Famous wrestling legend and hall of famer Jerry "The King" Lawler apparently suffered a stroke during tonight's live episode of Monday Night Raw. It was not part of the show and there are legitimate concerns for The King's life. Just thought I'd make this post to show support for The King, and because we have quite a few wrestling fans here.

Re: Get Well, Jerry "The King" Lawler
I’m not a wrestling fan, but you have to respect and, in fact, to love Jerry Lawler’s humour. The stunts he pulled with Andy Kaufman were memorable; this has to be considered one of the most colossal jokes in history! If memory serves, it went on for years!
I wish Lawler the best.

Get well wishes to Jerry Lawler, gave up watching wrestling but he is the one of the few I do remember watching.

I hope he gets well soon.
Just because I'm telling you this story doesn't mean that I'm alive at the end of it.

Re: Get Well, Jerry "The King" Lawler
Watched first half or RAW and saw Lawler in the tag team match. Gonna watch the rest later. He's 62 but always insists he's in great ring shape. He might want to reconsider. Lawler's a legend and I grew up enjoying Memphis Wrestling. Like to see him retire with some dignity.
Poor Kamala had his leg removed recently. Saw him interviewed in the hospital. Sad as Hell.
Here's the Lawler article. http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs...c-news-tv.html

Re: Get Well, Jerry "The King" Lawler
Apparently he's going to undergo an angioplasty, so I would say his time in the ring, at least for the foreseeable future, is over, which is pretty sad.

He's already had surgery from my understanding of the situation. He's had a stent put in and I can't remember the name of the procedure, but it's where they put a balloon into the heart to open up the arteries.

Re: Get Well, Jerry "The King" Lawler
Just saw the segment where Michael Cole explained it. Fuckin' Hell. Michael Cole had a look on his face like Lawler could die mentioning CPR in the back. Best Wishes to Jerry Lawler on his recovery. Cole must have been given specific instructions in that earpiece when Lawler went down.
