As a WayOut regular (10 yrs), I would heartly reccomend it.

Last year or the year before there were complaints about the guests from Philbeach hanging around on the street outside, then they started restricting entrance to residents and their guests, my guess is people are moving on, it was pretty much the same crowd. The hotel will remain so you can always book in at their expensive prices and hope for the best.
The chronic problem is that few places survive for long, there was -maybe still is- a ts club somewhere between the Philbeach and Ladbroke Grove, but its incredibly hard to find and its just a door. House of Drag I think has closed, but new places will open, you have to just be aware. Other than the WayOut and Trans-Mission in London, there is the Long Yan club if you don't mind the association of Gay people -they have beauty contests once a year which are worth going to; the Miss TS International is a big event every November and there are regular events in Milton Keynes, Manchester and I think Liverpool, and if you are a clubber and young you can find tgirls in the Ministry of Sound, Heaven, and some of the after hours clubs that run from 4am to 1pm. It's situated at the bottom end of Lille rd in Fulham. It has a shopfront and is on every Thursday night.
