Speaking from a TS perspective, yes I take all my boyfriends home to meet my Mom/family. Its almost mandatory. It kinda helps me decided how serious to take the relationship. My family accepting whom im with means a whole lot to me, then I have to see how he acts around everyone.
I had one boyfriend who didnt say 1 word to me the entire time when i took him to see mom. But he didnt hesitate to flirt with my sisters, then when I later confronted him about it he said " i didnt want your mom to think i was gay".. hahaha looking bak its funny. But at the time he got the worse azz kicking Ive given a man. lol

my mother NEVER was satisfied with any GF i presented her, so i stopped. apart from that it is me who is spending mst of the time with my gf, not my family. why should i bore them, me and my gf ???? my privae life is MINE. period.

same goes with friends. i simply hate that "trophy" mentality that comes with showing your gf (or bf for the girls) to friends. its an odd form of vanity, showing how good you are via scoring with a hot chick. and a bonafide way to ruin an evening of fun with friends.

i never hid any gfs from firends if we met them by chance, but i NEVER deliberately showed them around like some trophy thing.

i would only take my gf home to family if it is as serious as getting married.

I almost did, but a falling out with the young lady in question put a halt to that, I however did meet her mother, and we got along quite well. I also met another girls sister and her husband. but so far no one has met my mother. But i have nothing against it either.
