For my part I just wonder how she is. Airing the show after her near death strikes me as being in poor taste.

LOL Nobody wants to be tricked thats str8. You know how embarrassing that is to have all your friends see u romancing a transsexual when you dont swing that way. A lot of guys see a TS being just as much of a man as mel gibson is, so I can understand them not wanting there business out in the street.
Reality is perception.

If the show airs, there may be some interesting side effects. I wonder if Miriam will get any new media attention as a result? Will she accept interviews or not? And what about the attack which led to her injuries? Then we have our tabloid magazines. If they dig deep enough, there could be some light shed on the sex industry. Although some feel that the sex work put women in a bad light, it is a reality. Some good could come from the program, if it raises some consciousness about the status of ts women in society. On Maury’s tv show, it shows that there are attractive ts women, but there is not much on how they live there everyday lives. The earlier talk shows like Donahue and Sally did, but not many shows these days.
By the way I have written in other threads about the reality show. I do not feel much sympathy for the men, because they chose to put their lives on a show for money, fame and other things. We all have taken risks by entering into new relationships, at our own risks. When you decide to pursue someone on a reality program, you have to realize the potential consequences.

At the risk of sounding like a pussy...it makes me sad that Miriam, who seems like a nice person in her TSAM intro video, and who I assume just wanted to become somebody's true love and do some modeling, instead was pitched out a window and is back to escorting.
I don't know. I can just hear some of the guys here saying boo fucking hoo, she has a choice. I just feel sorry for her.
