So true. I would honestly want to be in an open and honest relationship with a TS IF I HAD THE CHANCE. The world is so full of creeps, it's understandable that a TG would be a little reluctant, but you have to draw the line somewhere. You can't let preconcieved notions control you every decision. There are plenty of fish in the sea, i'm sure you'll find the right person. Just like JWBL said, be patient.

Wow, that sounds so politically correct.

So what are some of the careers that the middle aged women and TS women that you know have? How long have they been transitioned? Has changing their sex affected their careers?

BTW, how old are you? You sound so wise.

    I'm middle aged.

I've been full time over thirty years, ten as a post op.

Degreed and gainfully employed - not in the sex industry.

    We do exist.

Why do people think transsexuals are just sex material? I can only speak for myself on this one. I first saw pre-op transsexuals through pornography. That's how I was introduced to them.

The only time I saw a pre-op transsexual in non-sexual material was Eva Robins in a 1982 Dario Argento horror film called "Tenabre", aka "Unsane". Back then, I didn't know she was a TS until just a few years ago.

According to IMDb.com, this is how she became a transsexual:

"She's not exactly a transsexual but suffers from a relatively rare syndrome: in spite of being genetically a male and looking like a normal boy during childhood, after reaching puberty, she naturally developed female secondary sexual characters instead of male."
