How Have You Been Spending Your Summer?

Most of my summer seems to be moving! I am now moved into my house and it took me a few days to get the yard cleaned up to put mulch and rock in. I will be starting on the inside this week. Painting and resanding the hardwood floor and restaining it. Lordy it's going to take me forever, but it will look nice. On top of that I've been working full time for my friends business. I have been away due to that and I also just now got the internet hooked up! I hope I get to do more with my summer in the next few weeks!!! So lets hear about yours? Hopefully it's more exciting than my own!

No summer for me. I´m having a well paid summer job right now, so I´m planning to travel to Cuba in september. Spending summer in Vienna is kinda boring.

my summer hasnt been all that exciting really. ive been pretty busy with work, actually switched jobs not too long ago. im planning on taking some time off in august tho to go to chicago. so that should be a good ending to my summer

Vienna is beautiful and I love this city, it´s my only one home but there´s not much going on here. It was for sure..... in the 18th century

Most of my summer has been spent trying to keep our house from imploding. So many things are breaking all over the place. Then there is my garden which, thanks to god, will yield a non trivial ammount of food.

The only somewhat exciting thing I did this summer was travel to NY, NY for the first time ever. It was ok felt like Chicago in many ways. Food wasn't quite as good in general. Then on the way back I got to stop at a campus of Univ of Penn. and get a feel for the area. Far too many people wearing camoflage, a very survivalist/millitia feel to the place. Don't think I will be going there. To top it all off we arrived back in IL in time to see all the legal and illegal fireworks displays going off all over the city as we drove home. That is what I will remember from this summer. That and the Cicada's.

Omg I feel you Brenda!! I just keep cleaning and cleaning. I never seem to be happy ha ha. It did feel good though when a person riding a bike down the street said wow your yard looks really nice now young lady. I was like hmm maybe it's all worth it ha ha it makes you so stressed out tough. I have been breaking out!
