I met a girl (gg) at a restaurant a few weeks ago and was instantly smitten.. She was my waitress. there was real repore. I week later I kept thinking about her and so I went in to the restaurant , asked when she works and they said she works fridays....

That next week I sent her a single red rose with a note that said "from your secret admirer!"

Now its one week later and my plan is to go in there tonight with a bouquet of flowers and give her my number.. however I am having severe cold feet issues about this..

its been two weeks since i say her last and at this point I dont even clearly remember what she looks like.. although I know when I was in her presence it felt right.. I know girls like flowers and that its romantic but its such a strange thing to do..

my personal opinion is that you should hold off on that bouquet of flowers. guys flirt with waitresses, it's a fact of life, i don't know why. it seems girls = but girls + food = !!! i'm just trying to see it from her perspective. bringing a bouquet of flowers can seem pushy.

i'd go with seeing her again, chatting her up, asking her what time she gets off of work, if perhaps she'd be interested in hanging out with you some time, etc. then, first date you can bring a small bouquet of flowers if you'd like ~ i think hand-picked is much better than bought, it's more meaningful and later you can find out her favorite flower and make sure there's plenty of those in there.

The flower idea came from talking to some girl-friends about how to follow up the secret admirer rose..

THe girls I talk to about this are quite sure its a great idea. They think its super important i show up today so she is not wondering who it is..which i agree with..

When the rose was delivered last week, the florist, delivered personally. the florist called me afterward and told me that she was happy to get it and curious about who it was..

i think i am going to go for it.. it is awkward and probably retarded and embarrasing but, so what. maybe its funny enough, that i can get in and out without making a scene..
She is not wearing a ring and therefor she is fair game.

I don't think you should give a girl roses unless you slept with her sister. Seriously though, you want to find out if she's cool enough that you would hang out with her. im interested to know how it goes... most likely tho, and sadly, youve scared her pretty bad and she has to be escorted to her car at night on the way home... not trying to be mean but i work in a resturant and we see "creepy" shit like this all the time... hence high turn over rates
