Smooth move, original poster. Now you went and pissed off Thanos. I think pretty much everyone agrees this is an awesome forum, and there have been hundreds of great threads.

For what it's worth, this is the only form of internet posting I do currently, and I think the mods have done a great job of running this place, despite having had to put up with all sorts of occasional wackiness.

Make a big stink about your sig, why dontcha? Get over it. You should see some of the shit I've pulled on whiny members over at the forums I run.

We have a simple response over there to people who whine about things just like this:

Removing the sig is one thing, and obviously the right and responsibility of the mods/admins.

Replacing it with a snide comment insulting the user, on the other hand, displays the maturity level of a child.

I don't think anybody should be called a dickhead, that isn't very nice but I don't understand why you would think that other people would assume you did endorse the ad. There isn't an algorithm that analyzes your posts then puts in an advertisement that you would endorse. It just puts an ad there and it has nothing to do with you. So I don't think you engaged in your actions with a reasonable assumption and maybe that's what they meant by dickhead.

It was not intent to anger or start a fight with HA's and I do understand that HA's needs to advertise for income reasons. I simply wanted to convey that I was not apart of those adds at the end of my posts. As for the adds for Bob's tgirls or the other TS sites, I really have no problem with them. Hell if I had the money I would subscribe to all of them tomorrow, however the Viagra add I believe is tasteless and more importantly..its not me! I dont use Viagra nor do I know anyone whom does yet if the add appears at the bottom of my post it could appear that I support that company.

With that said, if I crossed the line or broke some rule of the terms of service then I could see my sig being blocked and being contacted by the the Mod and asked to change it. But having the Mod change my sig and say nothing to me and calling me a "dickhead" to boot is just unprofessional and cowardly. I hope this is not the example of all the Mods here?
