Default McCain-Feingold: Who gives a shit?

I for one do not. I would like the debate to end and for all of us to move on. Enough already. For fuck's sake.

The arguing is not even about McCain-Feingold but about the diamertically opposite positions of two members who do not think much of each other and who have always disagreed. One of the two has clashed with many other members already and made himself unpopular with many.

    This is very simple.

    1. Repeal McCain-Feingold. Can we repeal the authors too?

    2. Anyone can contribute any amount of money to any candidates they want.

    3. Any company (domestic only) can contribute any amount of money to any candidates they want.

    4. Every candidate must post received contributions on a website that is publicly accessible with in 24 hours of receiving the contribution.

    5. Any candidate who fails to post accurate contribution information will be place in the stocks in public for a minimum time of 6 months. All existing contributions will be immediately distributed to the poor. The candidate will be barred from ever being a candidate in the future.

This will allow people of moderate means to run for office. This will allow voters to see who the candidate gets his/her support from. This will allow the public to throw rotten fruit and vegetables at the candidates who screw up.

If I got a dime every time I read an ad with purloined photos I could retire right now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QjS0AbRpAo Andenzi, izimvo zakho ziyaba.
