    Default Gradually more mainstream?

Maybe it's because I'm in the northeast and we're more accepting (if accepting is essentially don't ask don't tell), but it seems like tg porn is becoming more mainstreamed. Two days ago my roommate's girlfriend was here and she had me use booble.com (a porn web search engine) to look up Allanah Starr. I played it dumb and went along with it, and acted confused when I saw Allanah's "surprise" because I don't have the sack to be open about my interest...but even so, it's cool to see tg sexuality being talked about more than just in lectures that are solely directed at the GLBT community.

Wait, im kinda confused. She was looking for XRated pictures of her? Whats the rest of the story?

I know so many people who like TSs, but they are afraid to say anything out loud! Ive stumbled so many peoples bookmarks, porn in sharedfolders in Kazaa or Limewire than Id like to count! People are just hiding it, but a lot of people are actually liking it. I remember when I was like 14, and I was testing a friend to see hwat he thought about TS. He was like "Its the same as doing anal with a girl, anal is anal, Id do it". LOL, but now its so accessible, its not really a problem! its just the girls being out there! I guess im fortunate to live in ATL, but Im not into the "southern girls", I need an up-north trip

She was looking for x-rated pictures of Allanah and wanted both me and Justin to see what she was talking about, probably to see our interest in her. Nevertheless, I can't tell you for sure what her motive was.

Interesting thread and responses, although I may be opening a can of worms. I am surprised that the yes percentage is so high.

By the way, it is the best use of $10 in my life.

Can't actually see what percentage voted yes- I think you have to be a member (I assume the $10 is the fee?), but there do seem to be a lot of yes replies (including many who guys who'd rather have a pre-op). I'm not sure whether the sample would be representative of society as a whole but it would be interesting to know roughly, how many people are actually INTO T-girls (rather than just willing to date a post-op that looks as good as Harisu and try and forget she used to have a penis)

There are many negatives too though and some very narrow-minded comments made. Here are some comments from that poll that show what TGs are up against:

"I don't make enough to pay for all the psychotherapy these confused bitches probably need."

"If I found out it was a man, I'd kick it's ass because morally I'm not beating up a woman."

"Voted no... mainly because s/he's probably at least a bit mentally fucked."

"I believe transgendered individuals should be treated as if they have a disorder, how is the belief that you are a woman when you are biologically a man any different than the delusional beliefs a paranoid schizophrenic?"

"The very existance of transsexuals offends me. "
I suppose for a TG, these comments, make for pretty deppressing. Unfortunately, intolerance is alive and well...

Mother: I'd love you if you were the color of a baboon's ass.

Yep it is interesting to read about what the average person thinks about it.
I came across this one a while back, http://www.adultdvdtalk.com/forum/to...id=3&38332.htm

It is $10 to join. Almost 56,000 members and over a million threads. The $10 goes towards paying the monthly server bills and keeping the place running.

As for the results (as of 11:45PM Wednesday night)...

    26.38% yes
    62.44% no
    11.17% maybe

    1,935 votes

Deep within the topic is a discussion about how far SRS surgery has come in the last 20 years. Pretty interesting stuff. You get some homophobic comments but that would be expected anytime a thread like that is started in a 'regular' chatroom. I find it interesting that the thread has generated 350 posts in a day and a half and over 26% of the respondants voted yes.

Im surprised that it is so high. With the internet, I think more people are developing their desire, or at least figuring out where they are at. There are so many damn people who are undercover. There are so many celebrities that I know for a fact that are certified chasers! It surprised me when I first found out. Next time you bump into a TS at a grocery store or whatever, just observe how many dudes aproach her, and not ot talk shit. Hell, there are guys who find out and are still down for the girls!

A poll was started on Elite Fitness forums http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=157289 in July of 2002 asking:

Would you fuck a hot shemale?

Would you have sex with a shemale that's the hottest bitch you've ever seen?

    Results as of today:

    Yes - 127 - 40.97%
    No - 183 - 59.03%
