    Default double and triple posts

It seems many of the people here are unaware of one of the editing options in the bulleting board post form.

When you go back and edit a post, you also have the option to delete it. There is no need to edit it and announce to all of us that you did a double/triple post. Just sleect the post, and delete the one (or two) that did not need to be posted.

This double/triple post stuff is geting annoying!

that's actually a new feature on the board i believe? hence the oversight.

in my browser sometimes when i submit a post my browser times out and appears to not have been posted. then i'll submit again.maybe that happens to other people?

hillbilly, if your browser times out, most likely your post was submitted anyway. Rather than reposting, when that happens to me I hit my back button to go back to the original thread/post that I responded to, then hit refresh and voila, the post appears because it did go through.

Yep, I did that. I should know better as I actually run my own phpbb board, but some places don't allow members to delete their own posts. Thanks for the reminder.

I also noticed that this board seems to have a larger occurence of timing out than most boards. That's probably why there are so many double posts.
