Hi vanadinite. Another interesting question. Hmmmmmmm. I seriously doubt one can “change” someone’s sexual preferences, even if that person is yourself. I seriously doubt one can determine the course of a child’s future sexual preferences, gender identity etc. even if you’re in a position to influence them from birth. I feel the power of my own dysphoria is so profound, I cannot imagine it being anything but [] innate an[d] immovable.

What I think one can do is to open yourself up to and open others up to their own repressed dispositions. Experience and listening to the stories others have to tell of their experiences are the traditional ways of opening oneself up to the world. Hypnotists will tell you they can’t make someone do what they don’t want to do, the hypnotic trance can only release repressed desires and dissolve inhibitions. It can’t create desires and disposition where none exist. Then again, I’m not a hypnotist, I’m just repeating what I hear.

Yes i am a rock hound, being a geologist for almost 8 years. i do go rock hunting very often but woulnd it be fun if below the rocks there were tgirls jumping at me? lol

Hi vanadinite. A geologist...I'm impressed. Where I grew up in Pennsylvania, all the kids would collect these black cubic crystals which the locals called "luckies." They were all over the place...all you had to do was root around the outcrop next to the schoolyard for ten minutes and you'd probably find one. They ranged in size from 1/2 to 4 centimeters on a side (the smaller were the more common). Once I bashed a big one with a hammer and it was full golden flakes. I'm guessing they were "weathered" pyrite crystals, but real pyrite crystals are solid all the way through and not black on the outside. So I don't really know what they were. Any ideas?
