The gayest characters in Star Trek have to be the founders of the dominion. Shape shifters who could take on any role they choose and spent most of their time all commingled together on their home planet.

But Odo couldn't mingle. Did that mean he had SPACE-AIDS?

Incidentally, there were a few AIDS allegories that got scrapped.

Yeah Odo was infected by starfleet with a virus he was supposed to pass on to the other shapeshifters. To kill them all.

Yeah star trek had all kinds of sex in it. Never seen a toilet though. Bathing, but no one was ever in the bathroom when they were called on their communicator.

In the books there is a series done by Peter David i think with a differnt ship and a few minor characters from the next gen seies (Robyn Lefler) one of the characters is hermaphroditic and has sex with both male and female characters in the books.

The series is New Frontier and I believe the character is Burgoyne 172
