Maury
On later today is Maury's IS IT A MAN OR A WOMAN.
Has anyone noticed and does it bother anyone else that 97% the camera is on the goony audience members and that they hardly ever show the girls!??!

Another question: What do people actually think of these shows. I for one do not like the title "Man or Woman". Gia Darling and Allanah are not men (not unless I'm blind), they are women or, perhaps, transwomen, transsexuals or transsexual women or something like that. But not men.
I've only seen Maury on Youtube, though I've seen a few episodes of Springer. Is it just me who thinks that these shows do more harm than good by portraying these women as sideshow freaks?
The girls go on these shows for publicity and I'm sure it drums up business, but I doubt it opens the minds of those who put them down. Sure, people see the girls and realise how beautiful these women can be, but the haters who watch the show wonder what the world is coming to.
I'm just saying that the shows don't breed tolerance, only a fascination in what seems to be 'abnormal'. But why should only the norm be tolerated? We are all different and unique in our way, and these girls are beautiful not just because of what they look like but because of who they are.
These are my thoughts. What do others think?

Although it makes you realise just how "passable" these girls are (I don't even like that word). I just saw a segment on Youtube with Danielle Foxx and she looks beyond gorgeous in it- everyone except one woman said "WOMAN". Of course Danielle's card said "MAN". But for me, no matter what the card said, she's still a woman.
As for taking Gia, Allanaj (or Danielle, for that matter) for a ride in my car with the windows rolled down, it would be an honour and a pleasure. I'm sure we'd turn a few heads.
Another question: How does Maury actually treat the girls? And does he want to help transgender people gain acceptance?

there's another side to this that you need to know about................. women like Gia, Allanah, and Yasmine (she was on once also) do shows like Maury and the persona NEVER CHANGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are themselves on & off the set. Many a night I've been at the club (wherever the location) and some of these chicks want to be treated like royalty because they were just on Maury's set. Truly infantile IMO, and I completely ignore them and their behavior (but then I igg about 95% of them anyway). It's just sad to me that to some being on television for a "he or she?" episode is the high point of their lives............

I'm just mad that the commercials for the episode refers to our girls as men in drag

The shows are fake so I don't know what you are so excited about. The girls are paid to put on a show and the editors cut the material up as they see fit to entertain the audience. As long as people watch it, they will show it. The makers of this show continue to make this kind of stuff because they get ratings for it- if they didn't, they'd be doing something else, and the name it as such because it's easier to understand for the American public. If you guys want these shows to go away, stop watching them- you're signal is being recieved as a fan. I thought there were a bunch of writers on this board...
