OOOH I have been dying to post on here about this but I have been so busy, I have not had the chance too.

But let me get my 2 cents in-

First- it is obvious that geek is a great fan of vaniity and that is great.
she is lucky to have someone who is so devoted to her. ALL of us in the business have fans like geek- people that tell you wonderful things and give you lovely compliments all the time. that is a nice perk from being "considered" pretty or beautiful. the problem is that you can't possibly take all these compliments to your head. i mean let us face it- none of us are marylin monroe's, elizabeth taylors, or sophia lorens.
we are not icons or divas of the world. we are simply famous within out circle and community. if i beieved how many times a day i heard on the phone or through emails all the compliments i get, i woukd not walking but floating around. but i say that in a humble matter. though i am very greatful of those compliments, and believe me i LIKE compliments, you can't live your life through them.

vaniity is indeed a very pretty girl. she has had some work done and she looks very natural, whcih is great. everyone has her/'his own ideal of beauty and attraction.

i think the reason alot of girls/ some people dislike her is because to be honest she does come accross as being extremely full of herself.
i admit that i am extremely vain, but i am not arrogant nor do i think i am the best of anything. i simply do t he best that i can do.
i am personal friends with vaniity. these are the brief meetings i have had with her

"I just wanted to come say hi to you because Vaniity and I think you are our ONLY competition tommorrow night at the Awards"-he actually was impolite and did not even say hello to me, and Gia responded, a lady like she is "Of i'ts not really about the competition. Competition to me is very masculine, it's more about having fun for me- Im not here to compete, I'm here to have fun".

I have not seen Vaniity since then but have heard and witnessed some of her "rumored" scandals. I have heard about the rumors about her arrest at the AVN convention las year for being in a bathroom stall with another gentleman giving a blowjob (the year she won the award), I have heard rumors about her having a date hire bodygaurds to take her to peanuts because she was afraid the girls would do something to her, I have heard rumors about her being escorted out the Venetian hotel this year for being caught with another guy in the bathroom stall again, and the year we were both at Maury Povich she was the only one in the panel that exposed her breasts at the end and was getting taunted by the audience to take out her dick and she was gonna to it until the producer stopped it, and so many more...

As far as the typical "porn actress" behaviour u speak of geek. Well, there is a time and place for everything. I am not and know may girls who are not "porn stars" 24/ 7. In short, I am not putting down Vaniity. SHe is prettier and more passable than me and she is lucky to have that beauty. I admire her beauty. I don't admire her choices and how she reps the ts community at times but you can not take away her looks. WHO cares? I'm glad Vicki won the award. I have never been nomited for an award and I do not really care. This may seem a bad analogy, but Alfred Hitchcock never was nominated or won an oscar. The point of that is is that you can be very famous and do great things and not be honored by an award. It's nice to have them but how many acots have won oscars that you never heard from them again.

As far as pioneers of porn- that is age and taste relevant.

Vanity is a good looking performer but I come across people with as much potential as her on almost a monthly basis. I think her vanity and arrrogance have probably contributed to her sucess in the last few years but do I see her being around with the same amount of presence and being able to demand the same outrageous fees in the next 3 yrs or so....absolutely not.

I totally agree! Vaniit'ys voice makes her even more passable!
