Default LONDON'S RED LIGHT DISTRICT SOHO OLD COMPTON STREET

London no longer has a light red light district. What remains is corporate sex shops - Ann Summers etc - and a host of clip joints - Great Windmill Street & Rupert Street. There are still lots of 'walk-ups', open doors with whores flats upstairs, that service a particular kind of customer, quicktime 15 minutes (£50-100).

It seems Westminster Council are keen to attract a different kind of visitor to Soho, one that spends lots of money on services they can control and monitor.

They are happier to see local school children walk past thousands of fags kissing and drunk (but spending money) in nearby Old Compton Street than walk past a few old street whores, and have destroyed the older straight street trade and much of the atmosphere by clamping down on prostitution.

As fags are all rich or willing to run up massive bank overdrafts on outlandish fashion, stay-awake drugs and overpriced coffee and cake, Soho has welcomed them. They serve as a freakshow and a lure for tourists looking for an authentic experience in London.

They are an example of how capitalism will gladly embrace your sexuality as long as you have the money to express it. Soho has modeled itself on San Francisco and created a safe zone for homosexuals to open their wallets It has become overrun with politically conservative homosexuals, himbos, lesbians and wannabes. Try another city London is crap.
