I thought this original picture made a good candid shot, and after a few filters in Gimp it started to look like one of those glamour shots you see in advertisements or of people modeling clothes in a kitsch magazine.

Hi, thanks for the response, and yeah I too wish there was more glamor shots that have a grainy film-noir look to them.

It's not that I don't appreciate the work that's been done to get this community to this point, I just think that the Digital Camera revolution has helped as us much as it's hurt. We get more of what we want to see, but we get less of the artistic expression that unfortunately takes even more time and money to accomplish.

I'll keep posting more shots like this as I find ones that scream out.
