As Wendy mentioned, Australian transwomen often will travel to
Thailand for GRS, both for their level of expertise and cost.
Due to it's close proximity, as the 'crow flies' that may be a viable option.
However if as you state you are beginning your transition and are needing
endocronological, psych, etc followup, here are a few providers;
Gender Dysphoria Clinic,
Department of Adult Psychiatry,
Monash Medical Centre
246 Clayton Road, Clayton, 3168
Phone 03 8541 6303
Dr Trudy Kennedy

Phone 03 9510 3446
The Brisbane Gender Clinic
484 Adelaide Street, Brisbane, 4000.
Phone 07 3227 8679
Cavanaugh Medical Centre,
90 Woods Street,
Darwin, 0800
Dr Linda Hoffman
Ground Floor,
St. Helens Private Hospital,
186 Macquarie Street, Hobart, 7000.
Phone 002 23 2872
Dr John Graham
Ashford Specialist Centre,
Anzac Highway, Ashford
Phone 08 8297 0888
Fax 08 8297 0060
Dr Peter Haertsch
Suite 209, 2 Pembroke Street, Epping, 2121.
Phone 02 98685155
The Gender Centre

Finally here is a discussion of transition costs.

If you are in need of further assistance, just let me know.
